He is ex Assistant Profesor Urology & Robotics at Safdarjung Hospital (one of India's biggest hospitals) Delhi. He is ex consultant Fortis Hospital Delhi, Mohan Dai Concer hospital Ludhiana, Shivam Hospital & IVY hospital Hoshiarpur.

He has done M.Ch (urology) from prestigious Regional institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) (North-east India's one of the biggest and best central government hospital (300 acre+) by securing rank 1 all india exam.

He had been trained from one of the best Hospitals in India & abroad including AllMS, CMC Vellore, Fortis Hospital Delhi, DMC Hospital Ludhiana, Royal College of Surgeons London (UK) and American Urology Association AUA.

Dr Vijayendra S. Kanwar has experience in all kinds of difficult endourology, open and laparoscopic surgeries and kidney thansplant. He has been pioneer in starting kidney transplant in RIMS & JNIMS Imphal being the 2nd Central government hospital in entire North East India & first in the State.

He is the first urologist in Nonth India to get prestigious 1 year international fellowship by AUA American Urology Association.

He is the first urologist in North India to be awarded 1 year CCEBDM certificate.

He is the first urologist in the city to start RIRS , mini Tubeless PCNL and laser surgeries.

He organises various free medical camps as a part of Corporate Social Responsibility.
